New: Training Course "Data Transfer via Ethernet"

[4. Mai 2009] From September 2009 onwards we will be offering a new training course which imparts the basics and the terminology of Ethernet-based data transfer. The three day course covers among other things the following subjects:
- Ethernet structures
- Switching
- IP addressing
- TCP/IP connection
- Quality of Service
- Ethernet via SDH or DWDM

The course will be held in German or English and is ideal for anyone who needs a technical understanding of Ethernet without going into too much technical depth. [mehr ...]

New: Now digital Maps for Pathloss 4.0 MAP GRID-Module available

Since March 2008 tkt offers a set of digital maps to users of the Pathloss 4.0 planning tool that allows for visualisation of topographical information (rivers, streets, woods, etc.) on the SRTM3 elevation model.

With this set of map files the planning will be faciliated directly on the topo-map or satellite picture. Profiles are created and shown dynamically for fast and best evaluation.
